Chance of Severe Weather Today

January 30, 2013

A strong cold front is moving in and has the potential to bring severe weather throughout Georgia today.  A warm air mass from the Gulf of Mexico will collide with an arctic cold front and fuel the severe weather. We have the current warnings listed on the right side of our website to keep you up to date with the changing weather conditions.  The largest threat will be strong winds with a slight possibility of tornadoes.  These storms will develop quickly so make sure you have fresh batteries in your weather radios. We will be monitoring the weather throughout the day and post an update later.
